**Terms & Conditions**
**Bouncy Castle & Soft Play**
1. **Age Limitations:** All children's castles are limited to users aged 12 years or younger, unless an adult castle is hired. Please ensure no one over this age uses the equipment.
2. **Adult Usage:** No adults should use the inflatable unless an adult castle has been hired.
3. **Food and Drinks Policy:** No food, drinks (including alcohol), or chewing gum are allowed on or near the inflatable and soft play areas. This policy is in place to prevent choking and mess. Please note that if the inflatable or soft play area is collected in a dirty condition, the person hiring it will incur a cleaning charge of £30. If repairs are needed, additional charges will apply.
4. **Safety Precautions:** All shoes, jewellery, badges, and sharp objects that could tear or damage the equipment must be removed before using the inflatable. No face paints, party poppers, coloured streamers, silly string, or sand are allowed on or near the inflatable and soft play. There will be a £30 cleaning charge if any of the above is found on our items.
5. **Prohibited Activities:** No smoking or barbecues are allowed near the inflatable and soft play areas. Climbing, hanging, or sitting on the walls and roof is dangerous and is strictly prohibited.
6. **Supervision:** A responsible adult must supervise the inflatable at all times. Ensure that the inflatable is not overcrowded, and limit the number of users according to their age and size. Please try to separate large and small children or adults when using an adult castle.
7. **User Conduct:** Ensure that users are not pushing, colliding, fighting, or behaving in a way that could injure or distress others. No pets, toys, or sharp objects are allowed on or near the inflatable and soft play areas.
8. **Usage Guidelines:** If the inflatable is not in use at any point during the day, please turn off the blower at the mains. Do not allow anyone to bounce on the front safety step, as this could lead to injuries. The step is designed to assist users in getting on or off.
9. **Health Restrictions:** Ensure that no one with a history of back or neck problems is allowed on the inflatable. Additionally, anyone feeling unwell should not use the inflatable, even if an adult castle has been hired.
10. **Inflation/Deflation Safety:** Do not allow anyone on the inflatable during inflation or deflation, as this can be dangerous. Ensure children are not attempting somersaults and that they are dressed appropriately, with nothing in their pockets that could fall out.
11. **Area Clearance:** Maintain a clear area of 6 feet (2 meters) around the unit, free from debris, pet mess, food, and drinks.
12. **Weather Conditions:** The inflatable should not be used if the jumping area becomes wet. During rain, we advise you to keep inflatables up, as it is easier for rainwater to fall off, also any wetness, including bubbling (which is normal), can be dried with a towel. During set-up we do go over weather conditions with you (if the inflatable are outside) and all of our blowers are weather-resistant, meaning they can withstand the rain. The inflatable should not be used in winds exceeding the Beaufort Scale of 4 (24 mph). If conditions are too windy, users must exit the inflatable, and it should be switched off and safely deflated.
13. **Blower Malfunction:** In the event that the blower stops working, please ensure all users exit the inflatable immediately. Check the fuses, ensure the blower tube or deflation tube has not come undone, and check for obstructions covering the blower vents. If the blower overheats or loses power, switch it off at the mains and then back on after 1 or 2 minutes. If it does not restart, please inform us as soon as possible at 07454963575 or 07450353222.
14. **Return Guidelines:** Please ensure that all pieces of soft play are on the mats and all balls are in the ball pit, ready for collection. Extra charges may apply if the equipment or inflatable is returned in unacceptable condition as judged by Claire's Candy Castles, such as excessive marks (e.g., shoe marks, face paint, scratches, confetti) or damage to the inflatable or accessories.collections are between the hours 5-7pm
**Machine & Electrical Equipment**
1. **Client Responsibility:** The client, during the hiring period, is responsible for supervising the equipment (unless an operator is provided by Claire's Candy Castle & Jack in the Box Hire), its care, and ensuring it is safe from any damage. The client acknowledges that they have read and understood any relevant operating and safety instructions provided with the equipment.
2. **Liability Disclaimer:** Claire's Candy Castle & Jack in the Box Hire excludes any liability for injury, loss, or damage caused to any person using the equipment contrary to these terms and conditions. Additionally, Claire’s Candy Castle & Jack in the Box Hire is not liable for any allergies or physical reactions caused by any products, food, or items used in hire contracts.
3. **Age Requirement:** In all hiring contracts, the client and the operator of the equipment must be 18 years of age or older.
4. **Usage Restrictions:** The client shall not use the equipment for any purpose other than as described in the hiring agreement. The client shall not sub-hire or use the equipment unlawfully, nor allow anyone onto the equipment who is not suitably dressed or protected as necessary. No food or drink is allowed.
